Please note that if you in your client relationship with SKAGEN transact on behalf of others and are to be entered into the unit holders' register instead of the beneficial owner, you must apply for approval from Finanstilsynet (Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway) to act as a nominee in Norwegian securities funds register, ref. Norwegian Regulation of 21st December 2011 No. 1467 on Securities Funds, Chapter 13.

Certain duties arise in connection with the approval to act as a nominee including registration of information about the beneficial owner and reporting of holding- and realisation information to the Norwegian authorities regarding beneficial owners who are liable to Norwegian taxation. You may find more information in the Guidance for applicants for authorisation to act as nominee as well as the FSA's translation of the regulations.

Additional information:

SKAGEN has developed a nominee pack and a template letter that can be sent to Finanstilsynet to apply for nominee registration. Please contact us to get a copy.

Historical returns are no guarantee for future returns. Future returns will depend, inter alia, on market developments, the fund manager’s skills, the fund’s risk profile and management fees. The return may become negative as a result of negative price developments. There is risk associated with investing in funds due to market movements, currency developments, interest rate levels, economic, sector and company-specific conditions. The funds are denominated in NOK. Returns may increase or decrease as a result of currency fluctuations. Prior to making a subscription, we encourage you to read the fund's prospectus and key investor information document which contain further details about the fund's characteristics and costs. The information can be found on www.skagenfunds.com. Storebrand Asset Management administers the SKAGEN funds which are by agreement managed by SKAGEN's portfolio managers.
