Midhat Syed will join SKAGEN Global as Portfolio Manager on 1 November 2025.

Midhat will work alongside Lead Portfolio Manager Knut Gezelius, strengthening the portfolio management team with her extensive experience in asset management. She joins from Herfo Finans, a Norwegian single-family office, where she held the role of Investment Manager. Prior to that, she spent over a decade at SKAGEN (2010–2023), holding various roles, most recently as Portfolio Manager for the SKAGEN Select fund-of-funds range and Manager Researcher.

Her deep industry knowledge, proven investment expertise, and strong analytical background will be a valuable asset to SKAGEN Global and its unitholders. Midhat brings an impressive track record and is a CIFD, CIPM, and CFA Charterholder,” said Alexandra Morris, Investment Director.

At the same time, Chris Tommy Simonsen will be leaving the fund management team to take up a new position at Norwegian investment company Salt Capital.
